How to calculate your JTET 2026 score from the answer key
Open the PDF for your paper and go to your section using the table above.
Match the marked option with what you filled on your OMR sheet (or your question booklet, if you marked it).
Count your correct answers. Incorrect or unanswered questions will be awarded zero marks, as no negative marking applies.
Expected score = number of correct answers × 1.
Compare it with the qualifying marks for your category (next section).
Example: 96 correct, 30 wrong, 9 left blank → estimated score = 96.
JTET 2026 qualifying marks (passing marks)
According to the JTET 2026 official notification, the minimum qualifying percentages are as follows. The marks columns are our calculations.
Category | Minimum % | Marks needed if paper is out of 150 | Marks needed if paper is out of 135 |
|---|---|---|---|
General / EWS | 60% | 90 | 81 |
OBC-1 / OBC-2 | 55% | 83 (82.5 rounded up) | 75 (74.25 rounded up) |
SC / ST / PVTG / Divyang | 52% | 78 | 71 (70.2 rounded up) |
As a qualifying examination, JTET does not have a recruitment-style 'cut-off' score; candidates pass by achieving their respective category's minimum percentage.

What this answer key does not tell you
It is not the final word. JAC's final answer key decides your marks. Where experts differ, JAC may change an answer or drop a question.
It does not give your official score. Your result is based on JAC's evaluation of your OMR sheet.
Sanskrit answers in Paper 1 (Q121–135) are not marked yet. We will update the PDF.
It does not cover every language option. Only the language sections printed in these booklets are included.
How to verify this answer key yourself
Pick any five questions you are unsure about. Check each one against the NCERT or JCERT textbook for that class and subject. If you find a disagreement, tell us in the comments with the question number and your source; we review every report and correct the PDF.
